Dallas, TX – Freight Exchange Network LLC, is pleased to announce the release of FreightTracerTM  v2.5, which is an optimized release of our full truckload freight tracking platform targeting manufacturers, distributors, brokers and carriers.  Our SaaS, cloud-based web and mobile applications will be generally available to all customers on May 15, 2017.

FreightTracerTM v2.5 is an extremely powerful Full Truckload GPS Management Tool. Release 2.5 implements a new full-featured, freight control center dashboard that uses predictive analysis and real-time GPS tracking to provide you up-to-date statistics on your freight.  We have also added an extremely powerful feature called DriverLink, which gives carriers and brokers the ability to assign drivers and dispatch shipments on tendered loads.  FreightTracerTM also allows you to track the level of service you are getting from your carrier networks by tracking on-time pickups and deliveries and satisfaction scoring.  Within minutes you can be set up and running on our platform.  There is no expensive hardware to purchase and you pay one low monthly fee1 for our entire platform. With FreightTracerTM, you now gain complete visibility into all of your truckload freight, anywhere, anytime, across any carrier.

With this latest release, we have created a solution that puts the power of real-time freight visibility back into the hands of the manufacturer and distributors, and at a very attractive price point – especially for smaller companies unwilling to pay a big price tag.  We are excited to show these capabilities to companies looking to gain visibility into their supply chain,” said Mark Eichinger, FreightTracer’s VP of Product Management & Operations.

FreightTracerTM has also developed mobile applications for drivers that run on both Android and IOS mobile devices.  Our applications are free and easy to download and install.  FreightTracerTM only tracks drivers when they are dispatched on a load, while allowing drivers to disable tracking when they are on breaks.  We have also provided powerful features that include POD uploads, driver alerts and driver onsite confirmations.  “We are very aware of driver privacy concerns and were therefore extremely driver-conscious when developing the latest releases of mobile applications.  We understand that drivers demand an application that requires minimum interaction and touch and we feel we have accomplished our goal with this latest release.  We want drivers to be very comfortable using our apps while working,” said Eichinger.
